4,400 lb rating
Weigh your heaviest loaded pallet, not your average one. If it sits close to 4,400 lb (2,000 kg), leave yourself a margin on ramps and dock plates.

Four things to check against your pallets, your aisles and your shift.
Weigh your heaviest loaded pallet, not your average one. If it sits close to 4,400 lb (2,000 kg), leave yourself a margin on ramps and dock plates.
The forks need a pallet opening of at least 3.2 in. Measure your worn or block pallets before ordering.
Add your longest load to the 63.6 in truck length and compare with your narrowest aisle.
The 288-22CH05-L takes 100-240V at 5A and outputs 48V 6A. About 3 hours to charge and 4-5 hours of light-duty runtime. A full 4,400 lb load will shorten that.

Check these numbers against your pallets, your aisles and your heaviest load before ordering.
The CBD20W-II is a 4,400 lb walkie electric pallet jack with a 48V 20Ah lithium battery and a charger in the box. Four checks decide whether it fits your building and your loads.
The specification grid above has the numbers. These four checks decide whether the CBD20W-II fits your building and your loads.
1. Your heaviest pallet. The truck is rated 4,400 lb (2,000 kg), so size it to the heaviest loaded pallet you move, not the average one. It runs on a single 48V 20Ah lithium pack. The truck weighs 331 lb (150 kg) with the battery in, which is worth knowing if you ever lift it onto a trailer or van by hand.
2. Pallet entry. The forks are 48 in long, 27 in wide overall and 2.8 in thick, with 14.2 in between them. On a 48 x 40 in pallet, enter from the 48 in side and the forks run the full depth. From the 40 in side about 8 in of fork tip comes out the far end, so check what is behind the pallet. Lowered fork height is 3.2 in, so a pallet opening lower than that will not take the forks.
3. Aisle width. Overall length is 63.6 in and turning radius is 55.7 in. Add your longest load to the truck length and compare it with your narrowest aisle or doorway. With the handle upright the truck stands 48.1 in tall.
4. Ramps and lift height. Gradeability is 5% fully loaded, and a 4,400 lb load behaves very differently on a slope than an empty truck does. Plan this truck for flat concrete, and send us the grade if your route includes a ramp or dock plate. The forks rise from 3.2 in to 7.5 in, which clears the floor and moves a pallet. It is not a stacking height, so racked loads need a stacker.
The charger is in the box. The 288-22CH05-L takes 100-240V at 5A and outputs 48V 6A. A full charge takes about 3 hours and gives 4-5 hours of light-duty use. A full 4,400 lb load will shorten the runtime.
Charger light: green steady is standby or fully charged, yellow flashing is charging, red flashing is an error. Green looks the same when the charger is idle and when the pack is full, so wait until the yellow light has stopped flashing before you unplug.
If every pallet you move stays well under 3,300 lb, a lighter-rated truck will do the same job. See the electric pallet jack collection to compare ratings, or send us your heaviest pallet weight and your aisle width and we will tell you which model fits.

Five signs your team has outgrown a manual pallet jack, and the checks to run before you buy an electric one.
Read the guide4,400 lb (2,000 kg) at the rated load centre. Forks rise from 3.2 in to 7.5 in — enough to clear the floor and move a pallet, not to stack one. If you need to place loads on racking, you need a stacker.
Yes. The forks are 48 in long with 14.2 in of clear space between them. Entering from the 48 in side the forks run the full depth; from the 40 in side about 8 in of fork tip comes out the far end.
A 48V 20Ah lithium-ion pack (one pack, not two) and a 288-22CH05-L charger, both in the box. The charger takes 100-240V at 5A and outputs 48V 6A. A full charge takes about 3 hours and gives 4-5 hours of light-duty running.
Green steady means standby or fully charged, yellow flashing means charging, and red flashing means an error. If you see red, unplug the charger and contact us with the model on your nameplate.
Gradeability is 5% fully loaded, so plan this truck for flat concrete. If your route includes a slope, send us the grade and we will tell you whether it suits.
