Four things move the price of an electric pallet jack: rated capacity, battery type, how many batteries and chargers come with the truck, and which product line it belongs to.
Capacity is the most visible driver. A 3,300 lb walkie jack and a 5,500 lb unit with a full backrest are not the same class of equipment, and the price reflects that. But capacity alone does not explain everything. Two trucks rated at the same 4,400 lb can be priced hundreds of dollars apart because they come from different product lines, and each line carries its own manufacturing and sourcing cost. That build, plus their higher capacity, is what puts them at the top of the price range, not the capacity number alone.
How battery type and count affect price
Most of Raelon's lineup runs on lithium-ion, which costs more upfront than lead-acid or AGM but needs no watering and charges faster. The F4-201 is the clearest example of battery count changing the price: it ships with two lithium batteries and two chargers instead of one, which is part of why it costs more than a single-battery truck at a similar capacity.
The EPT25-WA is the one lead-acid model in the range. Lead-acid batteries are heavier and typically need periodic watering, but the tradeoff shows up in the price of the truck rather than the battery being more expensive on its own — at 5,500 lb this unit is priced for its capacity and backrest build more than its battery chemistry. The MN-01 uses AGM, a sealed lead-acid design that needs no watering, which is one reason it can carry a high 6,600 lb rating at a comparatively low price.
