The EPL205 is a 4,400 lb (2,000 kg) walkie electric pallet jack with a removable 48V lithium battery and 48 x 27 in forks, and a charger comes in the box. Four checks decide whether it fits your pallets and your floor.
1. Your heaviest pallet. The truck is rated at 2,000 kg (4,400 lb) at a 600 mm (23.6 in) load centre and weighs 175 kg (386 lb) with the battery in. Weigh your heaviest pallet, not the average one, and keep the load centred on the forks.
2. Pallet entry. The forks are 48 in long and 27 in wide overall, each fork is about 6 in wide and 2.0 in thick, and the gap between them is about 15.5 in. On a 48 x 40 in pallet entered from the 48 in side, the forks run about the full pallet depth. From the 40 in side about 8 in of fork tip comes out the far end, so check what is behind the pallet. The forks rise 4.5 in (115 mm). If your pallets have low openings, send us the opening height and we will confirm the forks fit before you order.
3. Aisle width. Overall length is 63 to 64 in and the truck stands about 52 in tall with the handle upright. Add your longest load to the truck length and compare it with your narrowest aisle or doorway. Send us your narrowest aisle width and we will tell you whether this truck turns in it.
4. Battery and charging. The truck runs on a removable 48V lithium-ion battery that weighs 10.5 kg (23 lb). A charger is included. Tell us how many hours a day the truck runs and we will confirm it suits before you order.
Travel speed is 5 km/h (3.1 mph) loaded and 5.5 km/h (3.4 mph) unloaded, the drive motor is a 0.9 kW brushless DC unit, and floating stabilizing wheels are fitted as standard. Plan the EPL205 for flat floors.
